Our history
ML7 is a project that was born following the sudden disappearance of my son Marlown.
Marlown was a child who was raised to believe in God. In my opinion, this is what made him this person in his own right, who left his mark on each individual who crossed his path. His kindness, his love for his neighbor, his humor, his joy of living and above all, the light that emanated from him, attracted both the youngest and the oldest. An angel gone too quickly. The accomplishment of his life will live through the works and actions that I will strive to put into practice with ML7 Accomplishment “the dream after my heart”.
ML is the acronym for my son’s first and last name. 7 is the number that Marlown wore on his football jersey and it is also the symbolic number of our life. I use it here mainly for its biblical symbolism. In the Bible, the number 7 represents perfection, it also evokes fullness, completeness or totality. This number is mainly linked to God, to the perfection of his works. Genesis 2:3 “God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it, because in it he rested from all his work which he had created in doing it.” I believe that we are all God's perfect workmanship because we were created in His image.
When Marlown was about 4 years old, he asked me what job I did, so I explained to him my job at the time. I also discussed with him my desire for the future to do humanitarian work, explaining to him what it consisted of and above all that it was not a job, but a vocation. Weeks later, he came to me and said he would like to do “humanitarian” work. Despite my explanations about the fact that it was not a job, but something we do to help poor people, he supports me from the height of his 4 years and with great assurance that this is what what he wants to do when he grows up. “I want to help people who need it”, “give food”, “give clothes”, “that’s what I want to do mom” he told me. This is Marlown's soul.
Our soul is what characterizes us, it is what lives in us, it is what translates our emotions, our thoughts, our desires. Our real Us. Marlown left behind him this imprint that God made in my heart.
It is important for me to share my vision with you so that you understand that I connect this project directly to my Faith, because it is through prayer that I had the revelation to create this association. What I'm talking about is trusting God to fulfill His plan for your life. The vision of God that he put in my heart, through the soul of my son Marlown. This is how ML7 Accomplishment “the dream after my heart” was born
